Here are some things to help you when booking the Tailor Maid Band

Playing Info

The normal playing time for the band is between 1½ & 2½ hours, usually split into 2 or 3 sessions. Pre-recorded music is available to fill other parts of the event if required.

Setting up

It takes approximate 1 hour for the Band to set up and perform a sound check while this can be done quicker if required. We would recommend making the event location available prior to the event so this can be done with the minimum disruption to your party.

Stage

The band needs a stage / floor space of 20 Ft (6m) by 12ft (3.6m); if you are unsure we can advise if the area you have is suitable for the band.

Power
Safe and reliable mains power and light must be available (see outdoor events below)

Outdoor / Marquee events.
The stage area must be built from hard, flat materials (e.g. decking, wooden boards, hard standing).

Mains power should be provided to the stage area.

If a generator is used then it is the responsibility of the event organiser to make sure that the power supplied is both safe and appropriate. Additionally the organiser accepts full responsibility for, and liability of, this provision. For large outdoor events it is recommended that the organiser explore the possibility of insurance cover for such liabilities.

If the stage area is not covered, then the event organiser must provide safe and adequate cover in the event of rain.
